I just got season 1 on DVD. It's lame that each series costs £15-20 each. It'll cost a crapload to get all of the series.

I forgot how good this show was. It's cool how season 1's episodes are self-contained stories, so you get a different one each time, instead of 1 story drawn out over an entire series.

I heard there are new movie rumours, with legal issues with Fox the only thing stopping it.

I loved the X-files.

It's amazing how anyone let them murder it so brutally over the last few seires though.

I'm planning on getting the first three seasons, which work fairly well as a self-contained deal.
After that, it kind of started crapping out.

The first five seasons were gold, in season 6-7 it started to get a little worse, but it was still awesome. When Mulder left it jumped the shark, and season 9 was torture. The Truth was superb, though, as it reminded me of the good old days.

I've only seen the first 5 seasons. I haven't seen the season when Molder left or those seasons with Robert Patrick. I guess it's a good thing cause I've seen the best of the X-Files and none of the crap:cheese: . Did they ever make a proper ending to the series? I always hate that. They see that the series has success so what do they do, they keep it going and going on and on until it turns to crap. They should've explained all the weird stuff and then ended it ffs:hmph: .
