Well. Don't let the title mislead you. I haven't actually a link to a chinese rap song, but I do have a link to the lyrics of one, and the discussion that ensues. It's quite surprising how its nature is very similiar to the gangster rap of america. Very racist, aggressive, and hateful towards the Japanese people. And I thought we had racism bad here in the states.

Can't say I'm suprised though. There's a lot of hostile feeling towards Japanese in China.

A lot of anti-communist people in China are still more anti-Japanese than that (ie they hate the communists, but they would join the army and fight Japan if they were ordered to).

What I try to say to them:

It's history, get over the bad feelings. Because you have an issue with the Japanese government, doesn't mean your bad feelings have to lie in each and every person.
There's no point being hateful.
