omfG! just thought of something
theres xtacy, powercolor, asus and ATI RADEON,
they say the gpu is the same but the cooler and mem might be diff,

ok listen to this
if ATI RADEON is the ATI Brand and ASUS is the ASus brand with the custome mems, dosent this mean that MEM from ATI radeon is much better?
its like real ram not after market ram to say
get what im saying

its like buying a after market bumper for a car or a Dealer bumper, obviously parts from dealers are much moer expensive but they actualy do fit int thier places, where as u save money form aftermarket parts but not exactly every screw matches up.

is this good? what do you guys think, im highly debating weather to get a ATI or an ASUS x800xt. what do you guys think?

quite often the 3rd party cards are better. MSI Asus powercolor, they're all good, I suggest searching for a x80 roundup review or something and find some comparisons. But youll be happy with any really. Id just get the one with best cooling or lowest price.

do you know what after market is? do you oknw about cars? if not then ull hvae no clue wtf im talking about.

I'm a mechanic, dick head, and for your information aftermarket parts are often superior to factory parts, both in computers and cars.

1) uncalled for
2) if oyu think u can affend me please son
3) why u getting defensive, did I affend YOU.
4) wtf u smoking, after market is better than dealer shit

what do you suggest, stick with ATI brand or go 3rd party?

whats second party?

So you're suggesting to me that some $300+ per corner Bilstein shocks are inferior to the $120 standard Toyota shocks? Of course aftermarket parts can be superior. Same as the MSI Radeon 9800 pro is superior to the Made by ATI 9800 pro, which only uses an R360 core, and in fact some Made by ATI 9800 pros used 128bit memory.

From now on I refuse to respond to your posts until you use a spell checker and proof read.

how fast do you type?

so my first post up top isnt that true? it dosent matter if its ATI Brand or other brand?

Uh what does his typing speed have to do with your typos.

On the other side, elephant, chill pill time ;)

And like The Terminator suggested, find a roundup review if you're really desperate to find the best X800 PE. However as far as I know they're as much of a muchness. But if you wanna know for sure just look for a roundup review.

Do you know how ****ing annoying you are? You are being a complete prick in most threads you post in, please be nice or shut the **** up! It ain't that hard...

The core is the same.
If the memory is the same then it doesn't matter except price and what is bundled with it.

If the memory is different but the same speeds then it will basicly help you OC the card.
Either way, they will both be within a frame or 2 of eachother.

actually Asus makes only high quality pc stuff, and I find there stuff is better than the ATi brand, befuase it comes with software to support hte gfx card and has an easy setup, unlike ATi where you just get the card, and I like the extra Asus features, plus I've never had trobules with Asus like I've had with an ATi card

Now this is a nice little thread... :dozey:
