Thermal GLue

I'm not shure if this is suppose to be in the hardware forums but,

you guys know where i can get some thermal glue ( you know, the sticky thing on the bottom of the heatsink fan for cpus)

b/c apparently it was stuck onto my cpu and i rubbed it off getting my computer fixed and now i need some to put on the bottom of the heatsink fan.

I have searched places like compusa and outpost but i have not found anything

can anyone plz help where i can buy some?? and how much?

o wow thanks...lol no wonder i could not find them, they are called thermal compund not thermal glue

hmm, remember though that if you are looking for something that adheres like glue(not to be used with cpus and heatsinks), you want arctic silver thermal adhesive, which actually acts like glue and bonds the two surfaces fairly well. but it looks like you were just looking for thermal compound.

arctic silver 5 is the best on the market right now... ive got a tube.

be careful, arctic silver is slightly capacitative. make sure you follow instructions when applying.
