Thermaltake W0014 Silent PurePower 480W - help

I just bought an ATI radeon 9800pro and its draining my generic power supply (300w max). During 3DMark03, my surge protector freaked and my computer shut off. I've also experienced strange graphic screw-ups while playing HL2.....so I'm certain I need a new PSU.

I've read great things about this:

under the specs it says:

Designed for AMD K7 and Intel ATX +12V 1.1 and ATX 2.03 version (Fully Support Pentium 4)

Will this be compatible with my AMD Athlon XP 1800+? I'm planning on upgrading my motherboard/processor/ram next.

Yes, it will work perfectly with your CPU. I have an Athlon XP 2800+.
