theSGL are running a one-night Team Fortress 2 tournament.
Fortification! thats the name of the game on Tuesday the 30th of October as eight Team Fortress 2 teams attempt to kick off the genre in fine style here at theSGL in our first event of it's kind. What better way to start things off than by dedicating this first evening to the classic map ctf_2fort which will feature in each of the matches. Obviously none of you guys will have been together for very long as a team so we aim to make things as easy as possible with our single map for the night.
A full rule set is forthcoming and will be released on the tournament page in the next twenty four hours. Please note that these matches will be played as 6v6 which is another reason for the choice of map. It is our hope that clans can demonstrate their intent to contest 8v8 in the near future but for now we will keep things as easy as possible for all involved.
SGLac is of course fully compatible and functional with the TF2 client and will be required in the matches to ensure a level playing field. Please be avised the channel #theSGL.tf2 is available where you can check in with the admins for any requirements you may have. Matches will begin at 8pm* To apply for this event please go to the TF2 tournaments page.
