they got rid of trap town movie scene :(

hey guys!

ok first off I LOVE THIS GAME! must be the best game i have ever played by far (that is what i think)

ok somethings i hope valve fix and some things i dont know why they changed.....

why did they get rid of the "trap town" section!?

I know ravenholm kicks ass major...but still i was looking foward to blocking a door way with a table seeing the combine shoot through the window and kicking the door down! also the last scene of "trap town" is gone! with the swinging trap and the big ass metal thing that u can blow and it crashes down and squashes the combine!

Dam why did valve get rid of that bit!?

things that i wished changed...

1) objects go through the dead bodies!
2) dead bodies go through dead bodies!
3) cant kill the civilians?!?!?!?!

want them changed major?!

I suspect that changes were made to the game not because of gameplay issues but for the simple fact of all the spoilers and leaked versions of the game. I've noticed a lot of things different than what we have been shown in the past, some of them I wish were still there but I'll live. That's just my thoughts.

Valve have said for a long time that the movies from E3 2003 will not be in the game.

1) cl_ragdoll_collide 1 should solve this
2) cl_ragdoll_collide 1 should also solve this
3) I was a bit shocked at this as well. Maybe there's a console command...

that was only a proof of concept scene. some thing they made before they started making the levels for the game. it was never ment to be in the game, just something they made for e3.
if you read "the final hours of halflife2" it will tell you alot. it will also tell you how far off they were from making sept 30.
they had no hope of making it, even from the start.
