I've been inspired to make this thread by Half Life 2. At the start you see City 17 all nice, with no bad buildings and that. At the end, you revisit the same areas but they are all messed up badly.
Has this happened to you in real life?
I recently visited an area I aint been to for a few years. I was quite young visiting them often, and always remembered them by two chimneys standing there. They are now gone.

What about you? Do you expect to see something and its gone?

When I came back to my home country for vacation, and visited the place I lived, the place where my families farm had been, my own house, a little chapel my grandfather had built, there was was just forest, with burned down ruins in it, so thick with busher we couldn't even enter.
