I was wondering if there is anything you guys saw or did, or experienced or witnessed that made you glad to be around to see it?

It could be something little or something huge. For example, watching a great movie, or watching your children grow up.

The reason I am interested, is because I feel like we can exchange some ideas on how to enjoy life better.

Here are a few of mine:

Watching Snow fall

Watching Huge thunderstorms

Watching Crazy hurricanes

When my Mom says a profanity

Seeing the leaves change colors in the Fall

Huge family gatherings

A perfect breeze on a warm day.

I have no reason to be happy. But i am anyway.

If you gonna be dumb you gotta be tough. Or really really stupid.

BBQ at the sea by sunset is nice thou.

Computers and the internet... and video games.

That's right... I'm thinking big things.

I agree with most of the things from vt2

Summer.

When I find out a girl that I am interested in also likes me.

This will sound bad no matter how I say it because it's the damn internet. But I really get along well with kids and I really have a fun hanging out with them. I dunno, sometimes I'd rather hang out with kids then my boring friends.

So yeah, kids.

The continued existence of the Internet.

The omnipresent possibility of a zombie apocylypse

Still alive.

Before there's any misunderstanding, I'm talking about the song.

Snow and christmas and friendsr the only things that make happy :D

The omnipresent possibility of a zombie apocylypse

lol I love that!

For me, it's:
Video games
Fun times with friends
Movies
A rainy and cloudy day
A thunderstorm
Reading a good book
Spending time with family
Half-Life lol
Traveling new places
Star Wars
The Beatles
Great music

hugs

rainbows

acts of random kindness

first launch of the space shuttle

fall of the Berlin wall

rise of the internets

not having to use my AK

For a more serious answer, in no particular order...

-this forum
-my career
-my family
-my Friends
-video games
-my bitchen computer
-general internet hilarity
-my re-kindled interest in warhammer 40k
-the book series A Song of Ice and Fire
-any sort of spin-off of the above book series.

Picking fresh radishes from a vegetable garden. Really enjoyable and addictive. You have to try it to believe it.

Playing piano. Although this was much more enjoyable before I took it as a "casual" college course. I've hardly played at all since then .

Making things. I suck at formal arts like drawing and painting, but I like making random handicrafts. The more obscure, the better.

Wintertime is nice for the hot cocoa.

Summertime is good when there are frozen slushies around. But it mostly sucks when there aren't.

Lone driving during the night.. I don't know if anyone else shares the appeal in that.

That moment when I make a purchase at a convenience store and my hand briefly brushes against the clerk's as he's handing me the change.

:)

Also small children.

Dairy, you treacherous bitch.

small children.

Small children are awesome indeed. Sometimes they make me glad I'm alive. And other times, they make me want to strangle them.

My baby cousins are so ridiculously cute. They are so awesome.

I'll get to see them grow up. That's pretty cool.

I had a genuinely happy smile today when I saw a toddler waddling around giggling with a balloon in her hand.

The small misfortunes of others.

When I reunite with old friends from back in the day.

When I find a video game that I actually like. (Few and far between for me these days)

When my mum is having a good day.

My father too.

When my nephews aggravate the hell out of me to play games with them. They call me old-skool. (a.k.a the guy with 8 different gaming consoles and hundreds of games.)
