When you wake up what is the first thing you think about before morning wood or a cup of tea? For the past few weeks I have set myself simple task's to think of the instant I wake up. For example before I sleep I'll think of word, any word and memorize it before floating off into sleep, sexual thoughts.

Eight hours later I will wake up, go about the day and totally forget about my mission for at least 4 hours!

Can you beat 4 hours with out using objects or written notes?

I doubt it.

Ive done it before. Not with just a word though, with whole sentences. If I think of something right before i fall asleep, and I want to remember it in the morning, ill just repeat it in my head a few times, then when I wake up a few hours later, its the first thing that pops in my head.

Although, I usually only sleep 3 or 4 hours, so that might help.

How I absolutely loathe having to wake up this goddamn early in the morning.

I don't think of just one "word" when I wake up. The first word would probably be "groan" or "oh" or "the". Sentences vary. And I've never analysed my thoughts

As to forgetting... I've managed to entirely forget things and never ever remember them again

Um... the word you or the person me...?

Go to bed with a mild feeling of needing a piss.

Wake up in the morning... "Piss!"

Sadly, its always "****, what time is it, did I oversleep again?"

If I have something to do the next day, I usually only have to repeat it to myself once before bed and I'll wake up and remember what it is I have to do.

Most of the time when I wake up though, I have a song in my head. Like 80% of the time when I get up, I'll start singing something. The song varies.

QFT, for me that is. Always seems to be what I say in the mornings, because I always oversleep, and yes, add a "oh.." in front of it.

Not sure about what I think, but sometimes the first words I say after waking up is (in translation) "awww f*ck!".
