I have a passionate hate for Ashlee Simpson. She simply has no talent and shes anoying as hell. My hate has been growing ever since SNL. And i have been waiting for a moment like this for a long time! My prayers have been heard! HAHAHA :frog:

but i do feel a little bad for her, it got to be terrible to be in here place at that moment... :devil:

Well then in that case my respect for her just went up immeasurably. Jessica Simpson is a travesty of a person. Appalling singer, thick as pig sh*t and really unattractive Barbie doll slag.
In fairness, Ashlee doesn't seem to be much better as a singer, and for all I know could be just as stupid, but she's hotter. And in my shallow little mind, that's a start.
 
Nice body, horrible clothes n hair. Same with her singing talent :/

its her own fault. Just because she is some singer's sister she tells people she can sing and gets a record deal, when theres so many people out there who are more deserving of it than her.

She's naturally blonde. Jessica is hotter, and has talent from the throat, definately not the brain.

Jessica Simpson is shockingly dull looking. She's not unattractive but she's just another blonde Barbie clone of dullness. And dark hair's far better than blonde.
And as for "talent from the throat" - well, the comic potential is almost unlimited.

Nonsense. Some popstars are extremely talented. The following is meant absolutley genuinely:
Justin Timberlake has a very good voice and is a talented dancer. Beyonce also very good singer and dancer. Christina Aguilera has a very good voice too (if a tad over-exuberant on the warbling). All of the above - or at least the first two - either write or co-write a lot of their material. I'd say that's pretty talented.

i find it funny when people talk about pop stars selling out. sure, many do, but anyone who works a job that wouldn't be their first choice is selling out. the difference between you and them is they make a shitload of cash.

For those who don't know who Ashlee Simpson is, she is the dumb bitch who was caught lip-syncing on SNL when her voice was out of sinc with her mouth. Maybe she shoulda kept on lip-syncing...

I watched the Orange Bowl on TV, but muted the half-time show. That clip is the only part would really have been interested in. She deserves all the booing she can get. Her performance is comparable to Oklahoma's performance (God they sucked.)

Moral of the story: If you aren't good at singing, then don't sing... in front of a 60,000 person audience or on live national television.
 
And for those of you think she's hot, what? Look at her hooked, turtle-like nose.

No this is her doing halftime for the Orange Bowl, and when the song ends, the entire stadium erupts in boos.

On another note, I saw something sickening in that video. A huge Anarchist's sign sprayed on I think the drumset on the stage. What in the hell? Yeah I'm sure she'd rather have all the police protection she's got just dissappear. What a loser.

You know, I don't like Ashlee simpson but really come on, why the big outcry over her lipsyncing? It's not like we didn't already know that's what teen pop stars do. You can't freakin sing while doing aerobic dancing. I am sure Madonna and all the stars that do a 2 hour show jumping around with 40,000 dancers on stage all do it.

Whitney Houston lipsynced the American anthlem back in 91 (the one she is famous for) no one cried about that.

This is what Rod Stewart said last week on Parkinson, a tv show in England, if he, a 60year old man, can sing and dance at the same time for 2 hours, there is not excuse why a 20year old woman can't do it for 1.
