is there a program that exists that you can like play songs. for example in that game punk o matic you can like pick the drums, bass, and guiatr beats you want. well im saying is there a program where you can like pick a song, play it then pick another part of a song and play it in the background. so you can like make your own music??

u can download audacity, or if ur a yupi, acid pro.

audacity is free, and not very accurate. acid is extremely accurate, but will cost u over $2000.

Reason 2.5 is another good one, but profesional and complicated, and geared more towards techno.

I've been playing with Sampletank, a midi extention for Pro Tools (And Cakewalk, I believe) that has all kinds of drum loops and odd sounds. Thats pretty sweet.

And uh.. yah,. this software,. costs a lot of money.. :angel:

Sure you could do that,. you could do that with reason, or pro tools,.. not sure about the others. But it wouldnt be 'simple' and how do you expect to isolate the sounds you want?

or like you can like try modplug (like http://www.modplug.com) to write like mods (like .xm .mod etc)
its like a bit harder that the others to like use but its like funnier

You can do it with any sequencer providing you prepare the samples yourself.
Whats with people thinking reason is some really high end program btw? The fact that its so expensive in comparison to fl (which is a better program)?
