Since when Israel is European? I hate it when they try to get in stuff that's non of their bussinnes. This guys have actually been trying to get an invitation to the European Union citing they are European.... If they play why can't palestine play then? Next thing you now Iraq is European as well.

Israel is a member of UEFA though and Israeli teams compete in the UEFA cup. The European cup is played by members of UEFA, not just European teams. Austrailia recently became a member of the Asian Football Confederation. They moved away from the Oceania Football Confederation.

And I can think of a few good reasons why Israel isn't a member of the ASF. Can you imagine Israelli teams playing teams from Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria?

For clarity, this means:
We all know israel wants to enter the European union. And we all know they'll want to contol everything. Heck, more than 2000 years of history tells us so. They have allways been persecuted: egyptians, napoleon, nazi's and now arabs



So because they were allways persecuted, they are evil? You're gonna trust some other long gone people's judgment over your own? By your logic, almost everyone is evil (everyone has at least some ancestors who've been persecuted one way or another).

The reason jews have been persecutated so often, is that they were always few in numbers (it's very difficult to become jewish), but always persevered no matter what obstacles they had to overcome (if you compare recent jewish immigrants to arab immigrants, you'll see that - generally speaking - one group aimed higher in the social ladder than the other). In other words, the perfect scapegoat.

What would they want to control here anyway? The production of cheese? Come on. If they wanted to control europe like you said, what has stopped them from infiltrating the european political scene untill now?

The reason israel exists today is the very answer they have for all that persecution: they want to make damn sure it never happens again. They finally have their own country (back) and will not allow history to repeat itself.
