This is PISSING me OFF

Ok, after the hl2dm update (I dont want to say it was because of the update, i dont know exactly)
but when I try to run it, it shows that is preparing to play them nothing happens I ctrl alt del, and i see hl2deathmatch in the task manager but its not loading?!?! WTF

hmmm, do you see the original hl2dm background and the status bar not moving? Or from your desktop u double click it says "preparing to play blablalba" and then it disappears and ur screen doesnt go to the game and instead you get a weird screen ... though its running... if its that well , it does that to me sometimes i just hold down Ctrl and then hit one by one Alt and u should see a little box appearing with all applications open and running... Just select the HL2 logo and maybe that will do it. Well that is if ur problem is the same as mine.
