This is really annoying

I don't know how this started happening but when I use hammer now and I try to select somthing like a Box prop in the camera view part I selects whatever is behind it. Kinda hard to explain. Is there an option relating to this?

edit: I figured it out. It was in tools> options> 3D views tab theres a reverse selection order checkbox.
