This shit is bananas. New Sega arcade cabinet is downright awesome.

Presumably made by the same team who made F-Zero AX and GX comes Storm-G, a futuristic racing arcade game with a difference.

It's a two seater arcade cabinet that can spin 360 degress on the Z axis. It's absolutely bat-**** insane. And I reallllllly want to have a go. No doubt it'll be over here in about 3 years as per most arcade games.. :(

I'm slightly worried by the sudden appearance of the ghostly man about three quarters the way through the video. He definitely wasn't there before and, in contrast to the portly Frenchman, seems entirely nonplussed by the entire thing.

Discuss how world-shatteringly awesome this is.

So... quarter per ride, or is this something we'll see at an amusement park? Looks fun as hell.

I really really miss the old arcades :(

I wonder if the French guy even knows that dude is there. Maybe he's an interdimensional bounty hunter or something, waiting for the right time to pull out the garotte.

In a decade no one will remember the arcade. A whole generation will have grown up without it. All that will be left are old men with old memories about putting quarters up on the cabinet calling "next."

r.i.p the arcade.

That looks ****ing awesome btw. I'd love to play F-Zero in that.

Holy christ that looks like fun. Dunno where I'll ever get a chance to play it though, the last real arcade around here closed down about a decade ago.

Alan, I don't want to say that your opinion has absolutely no value, but... well, yeah. Your opinion has no value.

That looks like it could be some serious fun.

Oooh, so close :p

I didn't expect this arcade unit to cost $6.50 per play. Would it be worth it? It does look like a lot of fun.

I didn't catch it until I realised that the arcade unit did not, in fact, spin you around like that teacup ride from the fair.

Actually, that might be a cool way of simulating turning in an arcade. As long as the axis is in front of the seat, and it doesn't spin too fast, you wouldn't even throw up.
