is just that I got a "invitation" of a new program that some friends looks like are using and is called SMS somehting, that is about I can send a text message from my computer to a cellphone, and looks cool but I am not very trust on it
so I was going to clik the final thing to begin the program or something like that and the question come to my head so I ask to you that are more experts on internet

so someone know that program and is safe?

also the main page of that end whit .ac and not .com so that worries me

link

www.sms.ac

so the latinamericans are the only ones who get that thing or what?
Thats just VERY weird.. Earlier today I had to quickly send someone an SMS, couldn't use the phone so grabbed a random link from google. Same site! :p

Seemed fine to me though, didn't get around to signing up fully though cause they came on MSN instead heh

It costs 50p to recieve the text and it's free to send the text, so it's a bit of a crock.

They probably store the numbers you're sending the message to then spam them or sell them.

yeah my friend received an invitation to this earlier today, I have gotten them b4 but just ignore them

I used to use such sites all the time when I was younger. I have absolutely NEVER had any problems with them (except the fact that you can't send as many messages per day as you'd like :E). Good thing is that they do not cost the sender anything. So I prefer them over doing it from the cellphone. Never heard of any site who charges people for recieving them. That can't be right can it?

well gmail puts them in the spam box so i dont trust it

plus it said steph garminallo signed up and watns you to sign up to it in the subject however there is a slight problem of me not knowing someone by that name :P

the .co isn't part of the United Kingdom domain name bit.
i.e. ac.uk would be in the UK (an academic establishment in the UK).

FYI. All country codes are taken from the abbreviations used at the United Nations, except the UK, where their abreviation is GB.
