Thoughts on HLRally?

whats everyone think of it? 4 years in the making. I played it, seems a little unfinished in some aspects, glitches here and there. and its got the annoyances of all the other racing games too. whoo. Could be more fun I suppose if I got teh better.

Anyhow, what do you guys think?

I played for about 30 minutes last night.. pretty fun
I'll give them this, it looks great for a HL mod

I think it has its good points, but overal should be much better once hl2 rolls 'round. though by then I think racing mods will be coming out like babies from a crackwhore on welfare.

4 years wasted if you ask me.... controls are funny and HL1's style of MP doesn't make it user friendly

i tried it but i have to use an auto tranny =(....my manual is really weird. Ill be in first, rev up the engine and it will go into reverse. Ill be in first, it will shift into reverse....ill be in 5th and once it hits the redline it goes down to 2nd (yes this is manual) other than that it is good

The gears are weird thought because you can be in 4th but still get the same acceleration from a standstill that you get in first.
