I have 56k at home, and a very fast line at work, so obviously I'd prefer to preload HL2 from work.

The problem is that I need to do it out of office hours. I leave work at 5pm but others are here until 8, so I need to start it after then.

Is it possible to schedule steam to start downloading at a time when I'm not around? I had ago at using windows scheduler (and setting steam to auto update - which works ok), but for some reason scheduler won't start steam properly. The PC I use here has a default login with no password, and scheduler won't start it as my username unless I add a password to the task properties.

Failing that, can I easily throttle the amount of bandwidth steam uses, so I don't kill works connection during office hours?

Any ideas?

It's ok, I sorted it :)

Just set my login with a password and used windows scheduler :)
