i have been browsing various Half Life 2 forums across the net over the last few months without signing up, mainly half life planet, here and the steam forums. out of all of them this seems to be the most friendly forum around, with a lot of posts that contribute to good discussions. i have read some not very nice posts in other forums over the slightest things, but this does not happen here, or if it does it is accompanied by a nice :cheese: or something.

just 4 i'd drop in that, to show how good this forum seems to be compared to others :thumbs:

I probably neglect to say it often enough when we get threads made like this but it is greatly appreciated. We're very pleased and appreciative of the amount of support we're still getting even after the game's release.

By the year 2007 I predict we will have become the ultimate forum hub in the vast internet, basking in the glory of over a billion members, going about their cyb3r lives in a huge metropolis of information. Moderators will look like combine and not hesitate to whip rulebreakers, and anyone who is banned is loaded into a gigantic cannon and blasted all the way to PlanetHalfLife- which has degenerated into a few crumbling shacks.
