Ticket expired for counter strike source wont take password!!!

When i try to connect to a server in counter stike it says my account has expired and i have to re enter password i did that and it says login failed i played counter strike source before and it was working fine. Anyone know wat the problem is?

Same problem, I have restarted Steam, rebooted and I still get this problem!

It says Ticket has expired and asks for my password again, I enter it and it just loops!

Valve/Steam/who-ever secretly updated steam. All warez accounts can't play online anymore and I mean EVERY hack possible to get any steam game just doesn't work

I think he may be running a dedicated server, exit it first if thats the case.

Mine says ticket has expired as well, but i just put in my password and everything is fine.

That can also be caused by server side issues. Try going into different servers.

Hmmm that only happens to me when I let my brother play my account because it doesn't let more than one person use one account at any time....

Exit Steam, delete ClientRegistry.blob (this stores the info needed to do auto-login, so if you don't have "Remember my Password" checked I don't belive this flile will be there) and then reload Steam, and it should ask for your pass and such, enter it, make sure caps are off. If it still does not work, do the "Forgot my Password" thing, you may be getting it mixed up or you are typing your password wrong.

people that downloaded HL2 off the internet for free are getting that error,"account has expired"...he patch that we got last few days stoped alot of those people that didnt buy the game :thumbs:

Additionally there may be more information available at http://steampowered.custhelp.com. Just make a copy of the error message and type the whole error message into the Search box.

I've found this to be incredibly helpful in the past.

As a 56ker It happens if I disconnect when its up(A steam game). I reconnect and vollia it all works again.
