Ticket Expired?

I keep getting the "ticket expired" error.

i read in the FAQ on the steam site that you usually just need to logout and log back in. i've tried doing this several times...including leaving myself logged out for about an hour.

am i for some reason still logging in with my old "ticket"? or is steam just not letting go of my login info?

i'm gonna leave myself logged out all night and see what happens...i'm going to bed...but does anyone know anything i can try?

I got that yesterday (for the first time ever) but after waiting a bit it disappeared.

But Valve have already said something on the subject:

Some other Steam problems -- "JIT" error messages, expired ticket errors, etc -- will be fixed with a Steam update this week.

Which is good, but I wouldn't expect it this week, proably next week.
