Tilde key doesn't bring the console down?

How do you bring up the console?

I don't know how Valve thinks it's supposed to be brought down. Even with the console activated, no key brings it down. It happened during the CSS beta. It worked at first, then it worked from a different key, then it stopped working completely.

I started the game with -console and then I bound a new key... such as

bind o toggleconsole

They "o" key will then activate the console.

That will enable the tilde key anyway

yeah, ive got the same problem, ive got it activated, but it dosnt seem to work with swedish keyboards. ill try that binding command though...
