Over the past few days I've been hopping around the country a fair bit;
I caught a Milburn accoustic set at some record store in Nottingham haha.. then saw them and Hot Club De Paris at the Rescue Rooms.. HCDP were very entertaining, taking the piss out of the diiiiiire support band that were on before (Carbon 45 or some shit) beatboxing, and did a barbershop quartet between songs - and were actually quite good live as well. Milburn stole the show totally though - it was more like a riot than a gig, amazing stuff..
And now I'm to Tin Pan Alley in London to catch The Holloways , Bromheads Jacket and the mighty mighty Vincent Vincent and the Villians
