Tired of CS?

Any one else tired of CS? I am sick of all this cheating going around, and the hitboxes get horrible lag sometimes. VAC2 needs to come out. On top of that, the new update messed more up than it fixxed. I am getting a little ticked at Valve with all this BS.

I've personally noticed an improvement with hitbox detection recently.

As for cheating, although I get rather suspicious of people now and then, I know a decent server isn't too far away. Just leave and keep lookin'

I really would like more maps. That's been the only major complaint of every shooter I've ever played. If the maps get too stale then I'll think of moving on.

I've had CS:S Since late October and I STILL have seen less than 10 hackers ever. I still can't wait for VAC2 though. As for tired of CS:S. I am too, but I'm also tired of UT2K4, Far Cry, Doom 3, BF1942, and all the other games on my Hard Drive...

But you're right. Source gets on my nerves sometimes. It used to be the only game I played. Now I also got CnC generals zero hour. I play them both now and neither of them gets boring. Try variation.

Played it since b5.6 or something and I still play it. I'm tired of morons actually. There should be a morontest before you can play CSS. 60% would fail it!

sometimes... i need to get into the 'zone' to get my high frags, but that requires me to play a lot beforehand so occasionally when i take to long to warm up then i get tired of it. im waiting for bf2 and F.E.A.R.

I'm tired of servers which contain bots and make you download quake sounds which never seem to be activated during play! Is there some way to filter for servers which have actual people in them!?

Due to lack of any (or any decent) internet connection, CS:S if the first multiplayer game I've played since .... Doom2. So I was understandably impressed at first.

3 months of obsessive playing later I'm getting fed up of hackers, inexplicably inconsistent aiming (snap shot at someone glimpsed for a second = headshot, crouched shot at the head of someone moving across my view = miss), people who should be less of a noob than me playing like idiots, tk'ing spammers, and particularly updates that make things worse.

I've just discovered FarCry online and am getting addicted to that, seems to have more going for it.

Wow people are beginning to wake up to something i found in the first week. I've hated source since my first game. I thought looks great, but the hitbox problems are SO AWFUL its unplayable. Theres these beginners who have been playing the game 5 minutes, and i've tried countless times and played CS 1.5-1.6 for years yet they are obviously more skilled than me. Don't wanna sound big headed but the game is inconsistant, i think valve made it easier for n00bs so lots of people bought it. I hope they'll fix the hitboxes soon as it seems the 'old timers' are starting to leave and go elsewhere.

I must admit after playing Source, I can't seem to hit jack sh1t in 1.6.

The hitboxes technically arn't laggy. The actually move before the player model. I tested it with bots cos I'm sad.

Also, I only seem to play custom maps now. The only time I'll play official matches in in scrims.

Yes, I am getting tired of CS. Not because of the cheating or hitboxes but because it justs gets too boring for me. Me and my friend havent played it in like a month. I may be playing it again maybe sometime this month.

I got tired of 1.5, quit for about 6 months. Then I attempted to buy 1.6/CZ and the CD key was already stolen. Then CSS came out w/ HL2, and it seemed to fix all the things I didnt like about beta - 1.5: Old engine, crappy graphics, and balancing the other weapons... namely the 12Guage.

Well... 1.6, 1.5, beta.. they are all great... but its time to move on pple. Bottom line: they are really the same game, and great 1.6 players can be great CSS players... it just takes a little adjusting to the new Cof's and feel. All the tactics are the same, the maps are still there. All they did was beef up the physics and tweak the weps a bit, and made the game much more immersive and, well ... fun.

hihi... I agree... 1.6 and source really are the same game. I get annoyed over the same stuff (the lucky headshots galore), I get good ath the same stuff, I still am better with the same weapons (colt, 5-7 and scout) as I was in 1.6 and the tactics are identical.

Getting very tired of the hitboxes. It's hillarious watching someone in spec mode going full-auto on someone a large distance away and tracking them at least 3-4 full body lenghts behind the person their tracking and still getting HS.

Also cheating is killing the game for me. Its more of the people who use things like recoil hacks/wallhacks which isn't as obvious as say speedhack + aimbot (which I can cope with every so often, its funny now and then) They go around like normal but with recoil hacks/wallhack going /rank every other minute. They are the worst kind of cheater, and I hope to god they don't have children.

CSS really need some more entertaining maps. Compound, train, and prodigy were a bit bland.

i would like to see a map set at a night, with a building where the CTs could turn the power on off to the building so that the lights go out. Something like that would make the game more interesting.

i'm getting tired of cs, not cuz it's a bad game, but because any game gets boring after you've played it too long.

give me some new character models from each class, a couple new weapons, and a map pack, and i'll be playing for another 5 months at least.

at least there is dod source to look foward to after i'm dead bored with cs.

then there is tfc 2 or tff when i get bored of dod source.

Here's my standing

Been playing since b1. Played all the way though nonstop till about 6 months before Source was released beta. I quit CS....was for good. Started to play Natural-Selection. I got into it, even though I was horrible. Saw CS: Source, died from the graphix, it looked so DIFFERENT! All the physics and what not *ya it was nothing when I look back* I just thought to myself. CS isn't a fun game, its an ADDICTING game. But I got back into CSS, and about...1 month ago, I quit CSS for good...again...I got back into Natural-Selection, and I jump on CSS once in a while, but thats far and few between. There aren't any games out right now other than NS that really turn my head to play it. TFC once in a while for 20 min....
