Ok, so I was thinking. How you all of you solve the "problem" with your girlfriends?

I made a sweet deal today. I made dinner today so that she can make dinner tomorrow when I play HL2. =) She also demands sex tonight since I will be occupied tomorrow. =)

Anyone else have any good plans? =)
 
I'm glad I'm a loser without a girlfriend so I can have HL2 to monopolize my time. Of course after I'm done playing, I will feel an incredible sense of loneliness and go into a deep depression or rampage :sniper:

I'm getting up at five tomorrow morning to get in about 2 hours play time before my 8 am class and she's getting up with me to watch!
 
Well, actually. Mine is letting me play all day tomorrow, actually, she lets me play until I don't want to anymore. So I can't complain at all. I've been nagging about HL2 since the day I met her (well, maybe not the same day but a month after or somethink like that, which means like 14 months of nagging. =)

Well, I guess mine will watch me play to. Since she likes my company and the only place I will be tomorrow = in front of HL2. =)

She knows the importance of Half-Life2 and she won't bother me while Im playing, she has stuff to do as well. But if it comes down to it, shes more important than HL2 to me. Its kinda like this on the scale of importance...

So as you can see HL2 means a lot to me, but if my GF wants me or needs me for something. I can pause HL2, I can't exactly pause my GF (but wouldn't that rock :cheers: )
 
Mine just thinks I'm a huge nerd for randomly blurting out "Only two more weeks!"... "Only one more week!"... etc.
 
Well since I'm Slick Rick enough to get her to buy me HL2 for our 3 year ani. on Sep. 17, she knows I'm gonna be spending the next few weeks couped up in my room, completely reclused and never coming out. I guess I'm lucky... she's even gonna be cookin for me to enhance the HL2 release euphoria :D

lol GF's arent just some object that you turn off. anyway mine knows the importance of this gaming history in the making, but i said ill stop for a while every-now-and-again so she isnt neglected or anything.
 
im screwed either way.. my mrs is 6-7 months pregnant. shes like some posessed monster alien walking bitching machine! its like livivng with the terminator with a virus!

im actually considering taking my pc into work all day tomorrow and linking it up to the office router.. then "do some overtime "?

cant play it here.. she'd eat me alive! :bounce: :borg:

Change locks, so she won't get in. Take the phone of the hook, put the blinds down, turn the speakers up and HAVE FUN!
 
My girlfriend doesn't mind me playing games. As long as i don't completely blank her out. Plus i like spending time with my girlfriend ;)

And yes, I put her over HL2.
 
lol my gf is actually busy with exams (korean winter exams) for the next few weeks so i am free most of the time. good timing valve!

its a sex life whice can hold up, or a game you've killed for.

in my opinion, because im retarded, somehow merge the two together (for example, get the boxed version, a second computer, and play it with her)
if you're not up to that (or if she isnt) then lock up certain times of the day to play HL2 and the rest to be with her (maybe like.... say, from 7AM-12PM, 1PM-4PM, and finally from 7PM-12AM to play the game, and the times not given are for time with her) or something like that. planning and thinking ahead are good.
because i have a gf that likes to be with me a lot of the time (the rest shes pissed at me for talking to some random chick about math) shell be on my other computer, or behind me, helping out or playing along side me to see whats the next possibility or whatever.
 
She's got work tomorrow and then she's going to see the new bridget Jones with her mum... but she actually likes to watch me play games for some reason. She's even the one who got me to get X Box live... though I think she really enjoys listening to them funny american kids talking gangsta. Of course if I spend too long on the games I like she makes me play Mario's Kart and Party to make up for it.

i through video games and paintball ive lost any chance at having a signifigant other in my life so im set.
 
my girl friends to ill to come round tomorrow.....wooohoooo hl2 all day...... well untill 3pm when i gota go to work!! stupid real life!
 
No worries here either, the wife has been expecting this day for a while. :D
 
Explain why nothing will be done by tomorrow night

I explained cautiously why I wouldn't get much done tomorrow, and she got that look, you know, "gonna play games all day, wierdo? watch it!". Still, she may interrupt me for intense sex, :imu: that's ok, just because HL2 is out doesn't mean you could stop caring.
 
My gf also likes to watch me play, just finished HL1 few days ago. Also she's good at screaming when there's a alien or a monster in the monitor. :burp:
 
Here is my grandmaster plan.

5:30PM - Go home from work.
6:00PM - Dinner
7:00PM - With any luck..sex

If we are both worn out from that, I should be able to nap, and she will get her need to snuggle close to me for a few hours.

12:00AM ... She is completely exhausted and asleep, and I am up for a few hours playing HL2...
2:30AM - back to bed
8:00AM - Up for work.

She works tomorrow night, so again, I have a few hours to myself...
