I'm upgrading my computer very soon. I was looking into getting the 8800GTS, but i hear the 2900 pro is actually a better card. My question: should i get a motherboard that can use crossfire tech? if so which mobo? if not, what reasonably priced mobo would someone suggest?

btw, the mobo needs to support Q6600.

thanks,

That really depends if you're willing to buy two high end ATI graphics cards.

I'd say wait until the next wave of DX10 cards at least until you invest that much into it. As for the board, go with a nice Crossfire board and you can always upgrade later.

If you've got a good budget I'd recommend a nice tweakable DFI or Asus board.

which is better - 965p/975x or xpress 3200(RD600)?

I would consider highly against it. It's made for those big ass monitors with high resolutions on said monitor. The drivers are often coded badly for these setups. No games are really take advantage of it neither.
