If you could wipe all memory of one game, be able to play and experience all its glory anew, what game would it be?

For myself it would either be System Shock 2, or HL2, for rather obvious reasons.

HL2 is my first choice. I was a newbie when I saw a preview for it in my first gaming mag. I was completely blown away by what they described. Read the reviews many times over, played the demo, and finally bought it 6 months later (was travelling between then).

Still one of my favourite games of all time.

HL2 for sure, I completely spoiled the game for myself with all the E3 videos.

Morrowind first, System Shock 2 second.

Ooh, I want to experience Oblivion again (yeah I enjoyed it, I know a lot of people dont like it).

After all the previews and E3 hype I was so excited for this game, and personally I wasnt let down :D

Morrowind is a good choice. I wouldn't do hl2, because on this current machine of mine it would totally ruin it for me by crashing every five minutes :/

HL1. I played it for the first time at way too young an age to really appreciate it. I was blown away though, of course.

No game blew me away on first play as much as HL2 did, so that's the obvious first choice. Other than that I'd have to go for some Black Isle RPG like Planescape or Baldur's Gate, just so I could experience all that great writing/depth afresh.

Final Fantasy 7.

Didnt see that one coming, eh?

I wish I could wipe Final Fantasy from my mind and not replay it.

Fallout. System Shock 2. HL2 and Episodes. Knight of the Old Republic 2.

I'd have to say it's a tie between HL1 and FF7...
What this fine gentleman said.

Edit - Oh, and KotoR, except I finish it this time. Probably the most involved I've been in an RPG, was having tons of fun with it, but then I sold my Xbox to a friend and got a 360. Of course I wasn't aware it wasn't backwards compatible at that stage... and then it got swiped from my friend shortly after. I was on the last couple of planets. :(

Gotta be BioShock for me. HL2 was a close second, but I don't mind replaying it at all, and continue to do so on a regular basis. BioShock is far harder to appreciate a second time around, but the first time was one of my greatest ever gaming experiences.

Fallout. System Shock 2. HL2 and Episodes. Knight of the Old Republic 2.

I still need to start Fallout 2.. lol. I only completed the first temple tutorial part and haven't played since. I actually uninstalled it..

HL2 and episodes I agree, they are fun as hell.

KOTOR 2.. I couldn't get into that game for some reason.. I made it off of the first mining station level, and it's seems like it should be fun.. But it's missing something to hold me to it.

The game I would want to replay the most... Heretic 2, also was my first game I finished without cheats lol (couldnt get cheats for it at that time, coz using the common cheats on id console had the opposite affect, god mode killed me, the cheat that turns enemies into chickens turned me into a chicken, full mana cheat drained me... actualy that was a very good thing lol) but yeah Ive been awaiting Heretic 3 or Hexen 3 for long, and wouldnt mind replaying...

2nd in line would be Half life, Im quite keen on the remake of the origanal with the source engine tho, im afraid that they will copy the game pretty much exactly which will kinda make it boring and predictable, IF they take the initiative to rearrange the placement of the monsters and enemies, aswell as add maybe some new routes and higher level of interactivity I think the remake could totaly be worth playing again (oh and give barney some decent ai, he didnt quite listen when i kept telling him to stay...

S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Shadow of Chernobyl

Well, Knights of the Old Republic is top of the list. To experience the twist again would be awesome.

Ocarina of Time, more to see if I'd love it just as much now as I did when I first played it.

I guess Oblivion, because I really like the game even if it was weaker the its predecessor. Just to get out in Tamriel again and start whomping bandits.

Heretic 2 was badass. Played a shitty pirate version that didn't have the cut scenes, though, so I didn't get to see how it ended. That'll teach me I guess. :p

Hell yeah it was awsum, seriously they should realy consider making Heretic 3... or I will... Watch me, i'll keep it a secret tighter than... errrr yeah id wont know about it untill it is released, so they wont shut me down and they cant realy sue me coz I wont be selling the game lol, I'll especialy put a note in for id to read... Heretic 3 brought to you by a modding team coz after years of heretic 2's release id didnt want to make the 3rd and satisfy the heretic community, so we did... and there are alotta big fans of heretic and Hexen hey

Mario 64, Golden Eye, Secret of Mana, SF2 - either would be great.

Half-Life (and its expansions)
Half-Life 2
Unreal
Duke Nukem 3D
Grand Theft Auto 3

The past: Ultima 6/7
Now (sort of): System Shock 1, Half-Life 2

Monkey Island 1&2

I played these while I had my Amiga and where my very first adventure games. I wish I could play them again now with no knowledge of them as they are amongst my favourite games of all time and I've finished them that many times they hold no magic anymore, experiencing that again for the first time would be amazing.

GTA4

I read most of the info about the ending on the wiki and killed it for myself

The more I'm thinking about it, Heretic 1 was pretty badass when I played it, but I'd rank Rise of the Triad to be something I'd rather re-experience.

Half Life 1, Fallout 1 & 2, Planescape Torment, Thief 1 & 2, and the Police Quest series.
