To those who've pre ordered LE...

For anyone who reserved one of the limited edition BioShock, I just want to forewarn you guys and cushion a potential blow for when the package releases next week:

I won't go into any specifics for risk of slander/libel of any companies involved with the production, shipping, or sale of this Limited Edition BioShock, but I just wanted to let you guys know that if you don't pounce on your reserved LE copy as soon as it comes out, you may end up with a broken Big Daddy figurine or have to wait for a fresh one later. From what I have seen, a number of the drills in particular on the Big Daddies snap off easily somewhere between production and placing them in stores. I'm not sure how common these or any other breaks are, but I do know of a number of unfortunate damages. So yeah, heads up and don't be too surprised, just wanted to let you know.

For those of you (like myself) who pre-ordered the limited/collector's/whatever edition (apparently they're all different, the one with the Big Daddy), you might be disappointed that you won't be getting a steelbook case, or even a nice embossed slipcover

I have heard stories about this elsewhere so I would say beware.

EDIT: Hold on does the UK get the LE with the big daddy or not? Game (which is the only site in the UK where I have seen the LE with the big daddy listed) have removed the 360 LE with the big daddy from their website there is only the LE steelbook

I just got back from Gamestop and they had four LE copies and two standard, two of the LE had the tip of the drill on the big daddy figurine broken.

So before you buy your LE, shake the box, if you hear something loose. Then the tip is broken. The guy at Gamestop said that they packaged the box too tight.

The Big Daddy figure has the worst paint job ever. No metal case or slip cover. Soundtrack CD is ****ing horrible (come on Moby, I expected more out of you! And I'm not even a fan!). And I know this is a lame complaint, it's one I've had before, but all the god damn ****ing french in the booklet makes it twice as thick, and therefore the case can barely close!
At least it was only $10 more, it's just the way is was advertised was way misleading. And at least the game is bloody brilliant, which is really all that matters
