wow. looks awesome. hope it doesn't become too arcadey from the looks of things.

They ****ed with Weber. This is gonna be awesome. I am gonna kill every single one of those terrorists. Weber always kept me alive...

downloading now i hope the PC Version is differnt from the kiddie Console Version

I have to say that i hate bloom, or rather it's not so much that i hate bloom, but that i hate that game developers always seem to overuse new whizbangs. Tone down the bloom a bit, and it might even be a realistic effect one day. Despite my bitching, that looks good otherwise.

Wow doesnt look bad. Will look into it deeper once more things for pc are released.

Wow, if there support is anything like it is for RS3, I sure as hell won't buy this game.

"They never lost a single hotage"

Well, when I said that, Mr President, I didnt quite mean it literally, we might a have a lost a few more than that. Maybe quite a few more. Ok all of them, it isnt easy playing that game with an XBOX controller though!

Yeh I will consider buying that, but those catchphrases sound really anoying. I hope they improve on them.

the texturing and graphics are shite, and what's up with the glasses overlay for the screen, and only two playable characters? what is this crap? better not be that way for the PC, or I'm gonna declare Rainbow Six 4 a console game and leave it for dead
what happened to the good ol' days of Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear?

Aww... They moviefied the premise.

"But today, they will lose one of their own..." dun dun dun! (Am I the only one who laughed out loud at the stupid "This time, it's personal!" catch line?)

I'm definitely holding out on this game until I see a number of solid review scores.

:dozey: The trailer failed to impress me, obviously that was all console footage(Xbox). It's odd how they always promoted the Rainbow Six series as a "movie-like" dramatic type game towards console gaming. I dislike that... all the PC versions were, in my opinion great. Rainbow Six 3 was plain perfect, mutliplayer wise... I hope they instill this type of gameplay for Rainbow Six 4, or atleast that with added features is all right.

I agree. Rouge Spear and all the Rainbow Six games so far kick ass.. It seems like the developers fail to see any profit in the PC industry and turn themselves to consoles where people can't warez etc.

I never got into the pc version because I didnt have a computer that would run it but I did get to play the rainbow six 3 on xbox and I though it was fantastic.

The multiplayer blew me away and it was the only game I played for a couple months. Xbox live and rainbow 6 where made for each other it was perfect online play as far as I was concerned. The multiplayer was slower then a lot of other games that most people are playing now (CS, Unreal, Battlefield) but that is one of the things I liked about it. Howevor judging by the fact that there was no scopes on any of the rifles the gameplay will be faster which might be a hit or miss thing for most veteran players. This time though I will be getting it for the PC and not the xbox. Im going to miss the fact that not everyone has a mic though, and cheating seems like it will happen eventually. Another thing I liked about the xbox version was there was no cheating untill that gameshark thing (dont know what it is called) came out and allowed people to carry more then one primary weapon and have molitov cocktails.

Howevor I am hoping this will be a great game, and I hope it doesnt get overhyped. Because overhyping is becoming a curse nowdays. (on some games ;) )

looking at the video again, anyone else notice similarities to that Shadow Ops game? the setting and rockets and everything all look very familiar, and the situation is utterly ridiculous, this is not rainbow six, it's not even an evolution of the series, merely a bastardization
