I think he's trying to say it looks great. :D

The pic doesn't do it justice really. Playing it looks amazing though. I have only tried the demo but it looks and plays wonderfully. I am actually pretty excited for this one. I just don't like the fighting--its really boring and simplistic imho, but the rest of the action and exploration are awesome.

The quality of the picture is good. THIS IS A SCREENSHOT from my Computer

What kind of voodoo trickery are you trying to confuse and bedazzle us with?

You know what this game needs. Some way to turn back time. Prince of Persia made the puzzles so much fun because you could screw up a couple of times without having to restart. With this game its just back to the basics of being frustrated (thank god for the millions of checkpoints between levels).

(Sigh) Maybe I'm too tired to explain my self but I'll give it another try. What I trying to point out is how evolved Tomb Raider has become over the years.
If you think about ,why Half Life 2 waited so long to be sold is probably Tomb Raider would have killed thier sales. And why Alyx is on the box Art.

are you a paid spokesperson? And that's arguably one of the most rediculous things i've heard on this forum.

I was less impressed with the visuals than I was with the fact that it ran really smooth on max settings with my system, which still can't pump up HL2 without a performance hit. Still looks very nice, but I wasn't totally wowed by it.

Downl--- eerrr... Getting it at the moment, hope it runs sweet on this comp. :>

I stopped playing TR games a few years back, but last i heard was the most recent game (before this one), she died in it? Is that true...if so how is she back again?

Sorry for the poor grammar and broken sentences but I was really tired:)x stoned)last night.

Graphics looked pretty enough to me.... Then again, the difference between "high" and "high with next gen button ticked" is quite a bit :)

And yes, i'm fully aware that it looks like im comparing "Low detail" and "next gen detail" but honestly, its like the whole geometry of the rocks change between high and next gen.

I'm a bit confused by your two screens lol .. they look awful compared to when i played it, don't remember high looking at all as bad as that :p that aside i loved the demo, i will more then likely be getting it when i can as i have loved the previous TR'S that i played ;)

So I take it... the demo is a must-download?

Played the game yesterday (not the demo). Graphics were ok, not super impressive though.

I get framedrops with the HDR mode on. Without it, it runs totally smooth, but with it everything drops to half. Still playable though.

I played it a bit at a friend's house, graphics can be buggy at times, it's not very open-ended, the drivign sequencs should have been cut . . . it's fun to play, but not worth $50 in my opinion. Maybe get it when prices drop.

I liked the demo, bought it and uninstalled it at 60%. I just could not take it anymore, and the patch did not fix it. It's like I play for 30 min then the game crashes and I have to restart my pc and then all over again, and I tried uninstalling it and leaving all the saves so maybe when it got fixed i could play it trough.

But when i chose that it left 1.7 gigs of data on my pc. WTF, I had only saved like 4 times and the rest was the game checkpointsystem, but seriously WTF 1.7 gigs for saves.

Does anyone else experience those frequent crashes or is it just my PC.

Seriously, it's biggest problem is that it's too much action. It's like the game was made AFTER the movies, and not the other way around.

And death to the interactive cutscenes.

Never liked or was interested in any Tomb Raider game. I just never liked the way the character moved or the way the game played.

Yes, those were horrendous!

"Wait, was that a left arrow or an up arrow? . . . Damn, must have been a down arrow! What, that's not working either?! WTF am I even doing here??"

Yea, I couldn't understand why they wouldn't jost show the **** cut-scene, rather than pretending I can actually interact with that's going on. :flame:
