God this game is awful! The last Tomb Raider game I played was the first one back in about 97... the control system / camera systems were broken then (and they're broken now). Thank god I picked this game up for a tenner. If I'd paid full price for it I would have been well pissed off.

If I had to pick a game that won the award for poor vehicular missions (of which there are too many.. and every vehicle drives like shit), level design (obstacles seem to be there with the sole intention of killing you until you fluke past them... just so you don't notice how sub-par the length of the game is) and shitty enemy AI then this would be it..

On a lighter note I just got the One Free Bullet achievement... and it was easy.. woo!

Tomb Raider... yet another series that exists just to make quick money. Add in virtual boobs for instant success!

I played Legend and was pleasantly surprised.
Crisp graphics, great control, nice levels + puzzles, and solid voice work.
But I'll agree that enemy AI wasn't the greatest... but I bought it solely for the platforming.

And I played Tomb Raider : Anniversary and I have the same things to say about it, I loved the remade mansion and classic levels and enemies.

They're well worth the money if they're your type of game.

Legend was an excellent game, especially now I can run next-gen settings.

Crystal Dynamics have done a good job of re-booting the franchise

I loved it apart from the AI and the damn Moterbike sequences. But Tomb Raider Anniversary is a lot better at least i can finish it unlike the original

Bought it yesterday through Steam. I liked the demo so I decided to get the full version. Tomb Raider gameplay has its flaws but I find it so damn funny. The AI is not so important: you play TR for the beautiful sceneries and some cool acrobatics :)

Considering Tomb Raider II was one of my favourite games growing up, I didn't mind Legend at all. It was fun, the controls were tight enough and the puzzles were pretty satisfying. I gave up on the boss fight where you had to use the sword, though. Meh to that.
