That would be incredibley awesome. The physics are all here. The only problem, I think, would be the gameplay mechanics being worked into Source.

and make up a name without "tony hawk"

I played most of the THPS series faithfully. I loved those games.

I played 1-4, then my little brother bought Underground and I didn't like it. I like 2 and 3 the most, but 1 holds a lot of nostalgia as well.

well.. i never liked thps on the pc.. but don't get me wrong. i LOOOVVEE thps on the psp. it's the best game series ever made for this platform. and it's replayable over and over and over again.
to enjoy it on the pc though you at least have to use a gamepad. there is NO way around it.

with the pysics system it would rock, just i aint sure about using keyboard or game controller...ps1 and 2 vers are better for controlls

it would be pretty cool. The skateboard would be a physical object and the grip on it would have a lot friction that it could be catched. this is a really good idea imho

I love the THPS/THUG series - I have all of them except THPS1 .

That would be a fun mod, except it would take a very very long time to make a smooth skateboarding system that feels fun to play.

But with the source there would be good physics, and the possibility to make great levels...
