Too Human - New Screens!

Are those in-game screens? They look phenomenal.

It looks too good. Seriously. I don't know if I am ready for graphics like this. It almost stops being a game and starts where you play a part in a movie. This is the part where I start to really crave and miss old school games. Most of those screenshots are the best video game graphics I have ever seen, and I imagine the 360 runs it without a hitch.

Here is the important part ... I hope it turns out to be really fun. I'm still forever wanting a 360, but I prefer the compatability problems and tweaking configuration sessions that PC games always have for some weird ass reason.

Here's hoping that the game plays as good as it looks. I believe the latest EGM has a cover story on Too Human with most of these pics through out the 8 page preview. They also mention that all the screenshots that were shown were all being run in real-time.

looks wicked!
surprised i havent hear of it

cool stuff, this game is another stalker, it have been delayed many times ( from 2000 i think )

I remember hearing about this ages ago, for Gamecube. How times change.

I remember when it was supposed to be on the PSX. No joke :|.

Ya i heard it was suppose to come out back in the Playstation days but they kept moving it to other consoles. I heard it went to almost every console..Pretty funny but it looks like its staying on the 360 right now. With all the media. Looks like a great game and it will be at e3 so we will see more of it.

I always remember getting this game mixed up with Thornado (EDIT: The new sequel to Turrican). Two games that never came out for Gamecube :( and two games I was throughly looking forward to.

This game could be the killer app that buys the 360 for me.

WTF?

Really, it looks WAY too stylized to be considered "playing a movie type graphics".

Wow, i just downloaded the trailer from Gamespot after reading a few of the reviews and i have to say, i havn't had the giddy lil thrill about a game in a long time till now :O
Can't wait at all, looks amazing

Well, you heard wrong, I'm just writing this so everyone here can read it's history.
It started development on the PS1, but shortly before it was fully completed Nintendo announced an "exclusive" partnership with Silicon Knights and moved the game to the GameCube, the game was never finished on that either tho and the partnership between Nintendo and Silicon Knights ended.
It was not until in May 2005s EGM that Silicon Knights announced a partnership with Microsoft to develop a trilogy revolving around the Too Human universe exclusively on the Xbox 360.
So basically, this console went from PS1, to GameCube, to Xbox 360.. Far from "almost every console", it has however, jumped from 3 console generations, and that's still quite a jump imo.:)

And DAMNIT Drackard, I hate it when people write reviews when it ain't reviews, it's Previews, the site even writes Previews themselves ffs!:p

Edit: LOL, the new link you gave us raziel, they wrote the wrong engine xD
"Utilizing the power of the Unreal Engine 2.0, Too Human will let gamers step into the shoes as the Cybernetic Gode Baldur in the middle of a seemingly endless battle that threatens the existence of mankind."

Edit2: The game is apparently heavily influenced by Nietzsche's Human, All Too Human/Menschliches, Allzumenschliches and a quote of Nietzsche can be seen at the beginning(iirc) of the trailer.:D

Edit3: Sorry for all the edits xD I just found screens for the previous Too Human "games", PS1 and GameCube.. Man.. It's cool to see how the game has evolved..

Oh sure, movies are never stylized. /sarcasm

Have you ever seen Blade Runner? One of the best sci-fi movies ever. Watch that movie, it will change your mind.

EDIT:
You don't even need to see the movie, just look at some of the images, particularly the ones that show the futuristic cities and vehicles

Blade Runner Image search on google finds some images from the movie:

Due to copyrights, not many images from the movie are available, but here are some:

You would really have to see the movie Blade Runner. Every image I've seen from Too Human reminds me of parts of Blade Runner, even the beautiful images of forests - like you see at the very last scene of Blade Runner, and the beautiful mansion-like building structure you see in parts of the movie.

To be honest Sinkoman, I can't think of any Science fiction movie that isn't stylized.

This game looks extremely impressive..but looks are one thing..gameplay and length is a whole different thing.

Looks like these next generation games are really going to shine. Make me wish I had one instead of this computer(As long as I get a 1080p hdtv to go with it)
