Too many spywares

Hey, I need some help.

Since I got my computer formatted (two days ago), I scan my computer for spywares twice a day. Everytime the scan is finished, it says that I got something between 4 to 10 spywares.
I used to think that I could get something like 5 spywares in one week, but not 7 in one day. My spyware's scanner are Spy Sweeper and Ad-Aware. Do you have any idea what I can do for getting no spywares? Don't flame, it's my first day (hmm... no it's not)

They'd be comming from the "sites" you visit.

if you're not visiting any "sites" then look up the definitions of the spyware, you may have to go through and deleate them your self from the registry. as some will reinstall themselves.

Actually, i'm surfing between halflife2.net, newgrounds.com and hmmm... sometime one porn site. But it's rare that I visite much that 5 websites in a day, so I don't understand why I get too many spywares.

Yeah I do that. I see a lot of "AdTech Cookie" and "Advertising Cookie".

Newgrounds is dodgy. Porn sites usually are too. Get AdAware and Spybot S&D. If you move to Firefox after that then you will probably not have to deal with Spyware much again.

Like the others were saying, get Mozilla Firefox (http://texturizer.net/firefox/download.html), Ad-aware (http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button) and SpyBot S&D (http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10122137.html?part=104443&subj=dlpage&tag=button).

I dont see why so many people reccomend firefox
I have both firefox and IE
I personally prefer IE
I've never had trouble with spyware from IE
Just click No to installing crud..
Or turn that function off.

As for using holes to install spyware
Thats crazy hard (I've done it though)
and the more IE updates, the harder it gets

Plus most sites program their css for IE
So when you use Firefox it looks bad
Plus firefox doesnt register scroll bar color

Btw, spyware has no plural form
Its just spyware; not spywares
(sry.. its just really aggrevating to read)

I think the spyware hes referring to are cookies which are pretty harmless.

Just ensure you have a good, regularly updated virus checker that also scans emails automatically (nav2004/5 is good for this), a decent firewall (zonealarm), and stop visiting dodgy porn websites, many of which contain virii.

Ad aware, Spybot S&D and my antivirus client can't delete teh 12 remaining spyware/adware thingies on my computer.

I'll have to reformat...

If you still think you could have undetected spyware on your pc you could paste here the log of Hijack This which is a powerful way to find spyware that has been undetected by Adaware or similar programs (recently happened to me) Just dont delete anything your not positive of.
