Jeez, I think the only film I saw from this year worth mentioning was Batman Begins, the rest were so average.

Two being Lord of War and King Kong. :/

1. Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith
It's Star Wars...

2. King Kong
A beautiful and very entertaining movie, felt like it was only 30 mins long while it was over 3 hours

3. War Of The Worlds
Interesting film about aliens :D

4. The Island
Except The Rock, this is one of Michael Bay's best films, everything is perfect with Steve Buscemi, Ewan McGregor and Scarlett :O

5. Lord Of War
Well... its just a good film

1.) King Kong
2.) Chronicles of Narnia
3.) War of the Worlds
4.) Sin City
5.) Batman Begins

No particular order to these, but they were all very fine films

Batman Begins
Munich
King Kong
Murderball
Good Night and Good Luck

I didnt get to see some movies that may have made the list but here we go.

5. I only saw 4 good movies this year.

4. War of the Worlds
Entertaining popcorn movie. Plus, the scene at the end was filmed about 3 miles from where I live. :D

3. Batman Begins
The best batman movie ever. Can't wait for the sequal.

2. Sin City
Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. Great acting, great story, great artistic black/white theme. 10/10, no question.

1. Star Wars III
THANK GOD IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!

My top 5 in no particular order:

Capote
Downfall
Crash
Millions
The Aryan Couple

Mind you, there were a whole bunch of honorable mentions, but these are the best IMO.

The Terminal (in holland it came out in 2005)
Batman Begins
Serenity

Munich came out in 2006... unless you saw it in limited areas I suppose...
