Top Gear - Who's the star?

Out of curiosity - Who do you think is the real star of Top Gear? A few years ago everyone would say Jeremy Clarkson, without a doubt. But times have changed, and now it's not so clear cut.

So, who is your favourite 'presenter' in the current Top Gear lineup?

I don't think it would work without Clarkson, they had to stop old Top Gear when he left it. Clarkson's great attribute is his cynicism, no one does it like him.

Clarkson. The rest wouldn't work without him. But to be fair, I don't think he'd work well without the rest either.

I voted for Clarkson too, although it was a close call. They are all legends in their own right, but Clarkson has that funny arrogant sense of humor thats second to none. Everything he says is pretty spot on, too - Although I don't agree with his hatred of Vectras. They're good cars!

Clarkson is the glue that holds the glittery Hammond and May onto the homemade Christmas casd that is Top Gear.

i.e. If it weren't for him, the show wouldn't exist but it's the other two who allow him to do it because they all play off each other so well.

The Stig is the 'star' but Clarkson is the top presenter.

But they are the best trio on TV and it really would not be the same at all without them. They all have different personalities which are all great in their own way :E

Clarkson. They are all awesome, James is funny as hell, but clarkson is the front man.
