Torchlight, $5 on Steam (again)

If you have ever enjoyed and overhead RPG, you're guaranteed to enjoy this game. Yes, it's that simple. It's not amazingly unique, this not the next-generation-diablo, but it's design is solid and it's FUN! And just about everyone on these forums (in past discussions) has loved this game as well.

If you don't have it yet, it's $5 you cheap ass! Or try the demo and then buy (though the price might go back up if you wait too long).

P.S. Found some modding info, looks like I need to boot up this game again! :bounce:

This game is indeed awesome and there are plenty of mods to add extra replay value.

I really hope that the MP mod gets finished soon.

I think I might pick it up this time. This is at least the fourth time it's been on sale for $5. I didn't think it was all that unique... and the lack of multiplayer kills me... but it's a fun little romp through dungeons like I enjoy. I have no idea why I find dungeon crawlers so fun... I think I just like finding things.

Me too. I don't outright like the game, but I do enjoy it. Getting some ridiculous freezing pistol that does upwards of 600 damager per shot made me ecstatic. It's kind of sad -_-

I got it and I'm really enjoying it. Shame I have to stop playing to do some work

Could anyone recommend some good mods? Wish there was a mod to change the movement to WASD, but I've got used to the mouse movement

Whats the multiplayer mod going to support? 3 player coop?
