What I love is that no matter how mind****ing something looks, people who play it will eventually adapt to learn the entirely new (and impossible IRL) skillset required to be good at this game. The same happened with Portal.
So thanks to games companies making these mind-bending games, people are now walking around with brains specially adapted for the unlikely event that portals become real, and we gain the ability to warp space and time.
