All this talk about release dates has got to stop.

Yep Gabe has to announce once and for all what's going on. Espcially so close to the 30th September.

Though remember the recent official release date is still 30th September.

Gabe emailed my grandma and told her it will be in store on september 30th. Everyones goin nuts for HL2, and who does he email ? My grandma! Turns out shes known this for months, but she forgot to tell everyone! DOH!!!

September 30 is the intended release date. Nimrods. No, we don't promise our souls if it isn't out then but that's the latest, current release date.

Oh - for the moron in the front row - we have official word on that too. It's been posted multiple times on this very forum. That's right genius, you don't even have to go to another forum. This one RIGHT HERE. The current plans are to release the store and steam versions at the *same* time. (That would be *concurrently*.)

Until you hear differently from Valve, assume that whatever they ALREADY SAID is true because that's what they would tell you AGAIN if they had time to repeat themselves for every confused idiot who wants a personalized answer.

When there is a change, they'll tell someone. And then ... you can read about it here.
