well first, can anybody tell me what the 3 stages of compiling really do (i of course mean BSP, VIS & RAD)?
This is now the second consecutive map I have made that hav this same problem: when I compile it, it takes HOURS to run VIS through, and in the end my whole system just crashes out of sheer lack of power, so obviously something in my map is causing VIS to overload, so what might it be, I ask ye?
Maybe the too many curves & arches???
maybe screwed lighting, what?
