Just got back from seeing Touching the Void, and all I can say is WOW. If you are having trouble with any kind of problem or struggle, go see this movie, cause this guys problems were much much worse. It's based on a true story about 2 climbers who decide to scale a new face of some mountain in the Peruvian Andes, anyways, it's in kind of documentary fashion with the events described at the same time, but not in the cheesy tv fashion, huge incredible shots, of the mountains, and it's all very real, not like vertical limit if you had the misfortune of seeing that movie. Anyways, so basically the story is that one guy breaks his leg at the top of the mountain, and then while he's being lowered he starts pulling his buddy down and so his buddy cuts the rope dropping him into a chasm, and the guy with the broken leg then crawls 4 days back to base camp without food or water. I'm not really giving away the fact that he survives because he wrote a book about it and you see him interviewed.

Like that one guy who got his leg completely stuck between some rocks in a climbing accident, so he just cut it off with his swiss army knife. I heard him on a radio interview, he said it was just something that had to be done in order for him to live. The will to survive can push a person to do increbibly brave and occasionally stupid things :)

Actually I hate sitting through movies like this, but it's always worth it for the ending so I'll go see it.
