Tourettes Camp

Im not posting this to be funny, although it is, in itself, quite amusing.
Anyway, I recently found out I have a very mild form of tourettes (throat clearing, etc) so I thought Id see just how easy I had it compared to others.

I always wonder why they seem to be profanity that they shout out. Either that or those are just the ones who receive most attention.

My understanding is that since profanity is often used to relieve stress, that is how they satisfy their need to lose that feeling. Personally, I find myself clearing my throat for not reason only to satisfy some inherent need. Trying to fight it adds anxiety.

right, a majority of tourettes is associated with tics of some sort. I used to blink my eyes uncontrollably because i felt like they were extremely dry. Presently, theres a few tics I have involving tensing the muscles in my throat and chest.

dude is your chest/throat disporportionately more muscled than the rest of your body because of the lifelong conistant flexing and unflexing ? if so ..pics + divx ..crack some walnuts or shred a phone book or something!

haha, no...it's actually relatively new, but I can see the potential hilarity in that. Plus it saves me from working my esophagus at the gym.

I know this kid with tourettes, he just blinks really hard, that's it, although I don't know if he'd swear out loud to anyone, but he swears ALOT, and I mean ALOT, but it just seems like you'd swear in a casual conversation when he does it, maybe he swears so much regularly, it controls his sudden outbursts of it. (he calls black people ******s, tells teachers they're ****ed, etc)
