I have heard you could trade in used games at GameStop for cash and I'm probably going this weekend to trade some in. These are the games I'm trading in.
Star Wars Racer: Revenge
EyeToy: Play
Medal of Honor: Underground
Deer Hunter
Sim City 3000k
Reel Fishing 3
Cabela's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure
Monster Rancher 4
Defend the Fleet: Pearl Harbor
I know this is probably a stupid question, but how much do you think I would get for these? Also, I heard you could trade in DVDs. Is this true?

trade in places tend to rape your for your stuff. Newer popular games will get you a bit more, but still you usually won't get the full value of what your trading in is really worth.

..why do you own those horrid games? (Besides Sim City..).

You'll probably get like 30$ for all of them.. Game traders are so cheap it's not even funny. I traded B&W2 in, brand new almost (Just had no plastic wrap around it) and they gave me 12$.... I was like F*** THAT. True story..

Except for Medal of Honor, they were given to me over the years. So is there nowhere I can go that won't screw me over?

eBay?
Every store is pretty much the same for trading games in, they are all cheap SOB's...

I used to trade games alot (almost 5 games per week) and then it just got ridiculously low, I havn't traded a game in almost a year.

From my experiences with trade-ins at EB Games and GameStop, you'll get a lot more if you get store credit rather than cash. They take a certain percentage off if you get cash. And with those games you've got there, don't expect much at all. If you want more for what you've got, I'd suggest putting those games up for sale on eBay.

If I recall correctly, only EB Games takes DVDs - GameStop does not.

I only got 12 bucks for my entire selection of old PC games (including Doom III and Far Cry)

its not worth it.

Those 9 games won't go another near $30 bucks, guessing < $10 (if they even accept half of those).

Think of it this way, most of those games are either total crap or so old that there's almost no audience for.

I'd keep em, just so you can have a collection....you really won't get jack for those. Or mail them to me. :D

GameStop take uses DVD's,I know cuz I worked at one.

The one thing you need to know about store credit for, well, at least Gamestop, is eventually it dies. I lost five bucks because I kept store credit for so long. I know it's only five bucks, but yeah.

And as someone who used to trade in games A LOT, lemme just say you're going to get at most 1-2 dollars for each of those games on that there list.

Yeah. I guess it depends on where you live because each GameStop is different. I know the one where I live does not take DVD's because they don't sell them.

For PS1 games, they usually trade in for less then $5, old(er) PS2 games would be anywhere between $5 and $10, (relatively) new/recent PS2 games would be anywhere between $10 and $20.

Cabela's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure, Sim City 3000k, and Defend the Fleet: Pearl Harbor, and any of the others that are PC games, should get you exactly nothing, since Gamestop doesn't take (used) PC games as trade ins.

Yeah, you won't get much. Plus Gamestop/EB are getting weird about all of this stuff. No more used PC games takne in, some don't sell DVDs, etc etc etc. Just keep it or sell it on eBay.

I saw a poster for the Wii up in EB the other day. You can save on a pre-order if you trade in your Xbox/PS2 and TWENTY-FOUR GAMES :|
