Holy shit they used the old sound. They actually went ahead and used the old sound instead of the tinny, scraping metal sound in the initial trailers.

Also...I've really gotta say, I used to hate Megatron's look. After the comic prequels came out it started growing on me, but I can now say I fully embrace this Megatron. Why? Because he has his mace. I mean holy Jesus they remembered the mace and put it in the movie. At least I think that's the mace; kinda blurry even at 1080p. G1 Megatron would approve.

I've been reading about this on another site, and apparently Michael Bay's track record for good plots ain't so hot. I'm not sure what other flicks he's done, but judging by the rhetoric of these previews, I think I'll be expecting shite for plot and an overabundance of Hollywood clich?s. I'll also be expecting some rockin' eye candy and the frickin' TRANSFORMERS so it's all good. The same thing happened with Alien v. Predator and I managed to enjoy that abundantly.

To be honest the trailer makes me bored. I think it's gonna be up to Optimus having an awesome voice and attitiude to pull this movie off.
Needs a little less human personal problems and a little more robots in disguise.

A lot of things have brought shame to the Transformers name in recent past. Pretty much everything after Beast Wars, with the exception of two, maybe three Armada episodes and the game.

I've been hating on this movie less and less recently. But trust me, as a Decepticon loyalist in the know I have it on good authority that Megatron is completely OK with this. He's going to be ballsy in the movie, you'll see. He's got a particular plot point that makes him uber awesome. And now, he's GOT HIS FRIGGIN' MACE!

Anyway, nobody trip. This movie will be awesome. I'm totally going to ensure that by shelling out $200 for a replica Matrix of Leadership when I see the midnight premiere on July 4th. If the movie sucks, don't worry...I'll fix it. The Matrix fixes EVERYTHING.
