Anyone else here played Trax for the Gameboy? It got released 1991 and was developed by HAL Laboratory, which have made a lot of Kirby games.
It's one of very few games that I actually have a good speedrun time on, pretty sure it was around 4 to 5 minutes I beat it in. :E
Anyway, it's basically a shoot-em-up type of game with lots of action going on, you destroy everything that moves. You control this small, funny looking, battle tank from an overhead perspective, much like GTA1/2. The singleplayer takes you around four different worlds one with a unique boss (although you also fight smaller bosses in-between), varying from a huge metallic dragon to a scorpion helicopter at the end of a level. You can also have all this kind of different weapons you can pick up, from small cannon balls to high caliber projectiles.
Besides the singleplayer there's also a fun multiplayer mode which have you battling 3 opponents in various maps. There is no particular type of gameplay except that you blow each other up, like your typical deathmatch gameplay.
Of course you can also play with a friend in 2 player mode too, but I haven't tried that though.
Unfortunately I can't seem to find a screenshot from the game, but here's a picture from the cover.
So, uh, anyone else played this or am I the only human on Tellus that played it?
