Tribes: Vengeance beta at Fileplanet

Foxtrot the beta is only multiplayer. Pitty for me I cant seem to get any games listed on there ingame browser, and gamespy acade only has afew servers, none of which work. Bah. But I got what I wanted out of it, seeing if the game is good, and it is, I'll be buying it on the day its out.

It is so cool, omfg....I think I finally got the hang of the game. If it sooo effing cool to use the grappler, you can go from your flag all the way to the enemies and back without ever touching the ground, and at incredible speeds. The pod vehicle thing is sweet too, IDK I just like running down HO or FC with it hehe.

Played online today, had to use gamespy arcade, but whatever, did really well, my score was 9 2 1.
I love the new fighters, if your good you can fly right into there base and start blasting away at there stations and at them when they spawn.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new look for armors, and the jets, the jets are now big enough to look like it was possable to lift (come on, small jets under there feet to lift a Heavy armor guy? Silly) Ummm and I think its just very well done, apart from the few crashes I been haveing.
Its nice to see its more like tribes 1, tribes 2 was like a different game, it was not bad, but it was'nt that great. Tribes 3 on the other hand goes back to tribes roots, and I'll be playing it prob more then hl2 multiplayer.

iv found many good servers each time iv looked and the servers iv been in i havent noticed any netcode problems everything feels very right. im very impressed. iv played this for hours at a time already and im only becoming more addicated. eachfeature is simplistic in itself but can be mastered given enough play time, skiing has a new meaning to me, i love going fast in this game. the spinfuser is again great and everything looks great. a few bugs(like getting stuck, even in midair) however random or few they may be.
well iv been at this game for 2 or 3 days. the fastest iv been able to go was 210 as a light with energy pack. mid air hits are very rewarding sometimes and it feels so good to connect a hit. some veteran players make the game looks so elegant as the soar through the air skiing on hills and manuevering through natural obstacles while landing seemingly right where the want to (snagging a flag or flying through the landscape).
to me this is far better than ut2004. i love the gameplay in T:V and at only 75% it can only get better.

I always loved the tribe series, but it was mainly the huge ass story line that I like the most.It starts from Earth Siege and ends with Tribes 2.If you read most of the storyline you would understand the names/weapons of the 3 sides in T:V.
Also another thing I like about the Tribes series is the feel of speed, flight, and the duels.
T:V is 3rd on my fps list...behind doom and hl2.

Fileplanet is the worst bunch of ******** and tries to make people pay for free things. i cant understand publishers give their OPEN beta's to fileplanet just to get some extra money. Its almost as worse as the spiderman2 demo with a trojan included

I hate it when some demo is "a Fileplanet only". It's stupid. Especially now when gamers were infomred that the Tribes: Vengeance OPEN BETA would be released August 28. Yeah, it is open beta: for those who subscribe to Fileplanet! Of course the masses will get some crappy single player demo with one map which you can play through in five minutes. Bullshit I tell you! No really, BS!
