Not much better than Tropico 3 imo, which already looked gorgeous!
Although they showed excessive bloom in part of the trailer.

I only recently got Tropico 3 and it's a great game... though much more complex than the tutorial leads you to believe.

It has some nice graphics in a management sim, but it lacks character that can be found in Tropico 1. The buildings need to be contradictions, nice architecture and colour, yet grubby, dirty and lived in

Looks and sounds like it should be an expansion...

Yeah, I don't think I will be getting this. T3 was terrific and I still love playing it now and again, but this does not seem to justify the purchase.

I made such a huge city in Sandbox mode in T3 that it crashed my XB360 every time I loaded the save, it was great!

And an interview

Shame that they seem to have copied so much from Tropico 3, with just a few new art assets and redesigned UI.
I had hoped for a bit more depth for people who already knew how to play T3, after the damn steep learning curve i found most campaigns to be a bit repetitive.

Feels way too much like Tropico 3 but some of the changes are pretty cool.
Definitely won't be buying it at full price.
