Alright, so the power goes out at my house and i'm playing my 360 online. When the power comes back on, I can't connect to Xbox live. I have two routers, one has my brother, me, the internet and another cable connecting to another router; which has my mom and the xbox on it. Mind you everything was working no problem until the outage and now my mom's computer and the xbox wont connect to the internet. When I troubleshooted the network settings for the Xbox the DNS failed... but then I plugged in the 360 and my mom's computer to the main router and they still didn't work.

Help?

Have you reset the routers and modem? (maybe just unplug the power to each and back in)

On your mom's PC, have you pinged it's own network card? Just to make sure it works.
Start -> Run (or windows key + r) -> type "cmd" -> type "ping 127.0.0.1" in the command prompt
While on her PC.

Alright, I reset both routers and pinged home on my moms computer, but still nothing is working. :/

I'm assuming when you pinged the network card you got a result. hehe

You can't see the computers on the network for shared files or anything? It sounds like the main router just doesn't want to fit them into the network. Do the PC and xbox get assigned proper IPs? I would assume 192.168.254.something.

Yeah, got a result. :)

I did a scan with windows tools and it said an "invalid DHCP server". Should I make a valid one? After I searched I got nothing on the network; and they don't have proper IP's.
