I am in need of some help? I will glady pay or owe a favor to anyone that can help me? plz...
So I have been battling with Steam for about a month now. Something is wrong with the program or my computer i don't know?? Don't get me wrong, I love the program Steam, but sometimes it can be frustrating haha.
I bought HL2 a month ago and have not been able to play it since I got it. Everytime I try to play the game the connection fails and I recieve this Error message: "Error - This game is currently unavailable, try again another time"
Yeah, I have read up on all the support forums on the Error Message. I have tried Port Fowarding, disabling my firewall, disabling my anti-virus software, all of that stuff. Still nothing happens....
Here is the kicker! I can't even play HL2 or CS:S in Offline mode. I still get the same error message every time. It will let me play that little arcade game Codename Gordon, thats it. I have 100% acquired the game and the Offline Status reads READY. Still nothing....
I have re-installed Steam 3 times and Re-installed HL2 twice. still nothing....
I have done all my home work on all of this and tried pretty much just about everything besides returning the game and getting my money back haha.
Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?? thanks!
